We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resource Team as an HR Business Partner in our Grand Forks, ND contact center. Job Responsibilities: - Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to the management team.
- Assist contact center assocaites with problem resolution.
- Develop and implement employee surveys and questionnaires, including exit interviews.
- Support internal customers to assure questions and concerns are being addressed.
- Develop and implement new policies, procedures, and programs as directed.
- Assure all employee regulations are met and manage employment liability for the organization.
- Proactive resource to the recruiting and training managers.
- Resource to escalate payroll and/or policy issues appropriately.
- Act as a liason between Managers and Associates to resolve conflict.
- Manager and maintain workers' compensation claims.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation for all new hire employees.
- Manage leaves of absence in accordance with Amazon.com policy, federal and state laws.
- Manager, track, and trend termination and turnover data and reports.
- Conduct and develop trainings for management and associate development.
- Generate reports for client group relating to all HR issues.
- Stay current with issues and concerns related to work environment.
- Practice proactive union avoidance activities.
- Assist client group with strategic business initiatives and projects.
The ideal candidate will have: - A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 4 or more years experience in HR management.
- Proficiency with PeopleSoft.
- Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.
- Benefits and payroll administration knowledge.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
